Kistler respects your right to privacy


Please read this data privacy statement carefully. If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. At the end of this statement, we will provide you with the necessary contact details of the person in charge you may contact if you wish to seek clarification.

The Kistler Group companies (collectively “Kistler” hereafter) use an eRecruitment solution as one of the central applications for attracting, recruiting and retaining future employees.


By registering your candidate profile in the Kistler talent pool, you provide Kistler with your personal data and state that you are interested in being employed at Kistler. Your data may therefore be used for filling open positions, which can include either a single, specific opening or additional potential openings beyond the scope of your original application.

Your information will be submitted to the Human Resource Department of Kistler and the respective Department Heads in their role as Hiring Managers to discuss your qualifications and to determine how well your application fits the position you have applied for, or possible postings which might present itself in the future. If your application is successful, your data will be used for personnel administration including the establishment of a personnel record and the herewith related management purposes.

In order for you to apply for a position, Kistler will ask you to enter your personal and contact data, work experience, education, competencies, qualifications and job preferences. You may also attach documents to supplement your application data, such as your CV, diplomas and reference letters. Furthermore, job-related questionnaires may be integrated into the application process.

Global aspect and access to data

Kistler is a company that operates on a global level. You understand that your data might be processed in countries with different data privacy legislation than the one in your home country. By submitting your information, you consent to such transfers. We can assure you that your data will only be accessible for Kistler employees involved in the recruiting process you have given consent to and Kistler will take all reasonable steps to protect your personal data and prevent unauthorized access.

Data Storage
Kistler uses the eRecruitment Solution of SAP SuccessFactors. This means, you submit your application directly in an externally hosted eRecruitment Solution. Your data are safely stored in a Data Center provided by SAP SuccessFactors.

Data retention

Your information will be kept in the system for a period of 6 months after your most recent profile update. This time period also applies in case you have been rejected for the position you have applied for. After this defined period of 6 months, your profile will be deleted automatically.

If you wish to remain in our candidate pool to enhance your chances of employment with Kistler, you may access and update your profile regularly and before the duration of 6 months has passed.

You as a candidate of Kistler own the right to delete your candidate profile at any time. You may easily access your candidate profile and delete your data. We can assure you that as of this point in time, your data are no longer available for us and not stored in our eRecruitment Solution anymore.
